I&E Bench
This Privacy Policy describes how I&E Bench (“the App”), published by Walker United Group LLC, handles information.
Summary
I&E Bench is designed so that calculations run on your device. The App does not require an account with Walker United Group LLC. Purchases are processed by Apple.
Optional iCloud sync (v1.0): Saved work can sync through your own iCloud account using SwiftData with Apple’s CloudKit private database. Apple stores that synced data in your private iCloud; Walker United Group LLC never sees or accesses it. If you are signed out of iCloud, or you turn iCloud off for I&E Bench in Settings, sync is off or unavailable and your data stays on the device.
For the App Store privacy label, the App is intended to be listed as Data Not Collected, because data in your private CloudKit database is stored by Apple for you and is not collected by the developer. Crash reports, when available, are handled by Apple as described below.
Information we collect
On-device calculations, worksheets, and optional iCloud sync
Calculator inputs, worksheet entries, and related saved work are created on your device. By default they remain on the device.
When optional iCloud sync is available and enabled (you are signed into iCloud and iCloud is turned on for the App), saved work may sync to your iCloud via CloudKit’s private database. That storage is provided by Apple (iCloud). We do not operate a separate cloud copy of your worksheets, and we cannot read your private CloudKit data.
Turning sync off or deleting synced data
- Turn sync off or stop iCloud use for the App: Settings → [your name] → iCloud, then manage iCloud for I&E Bench (or sign out of iCloud). When sync is off or unavailable, data stays on the device.
- Delete saved work in the App to remove it locally; synced copies follow Apple’s iCloud/CloudKit behavior for your account. You can also manage iCloud storage in Settings → [your name] → iCloud.
Accounts
The App does not create user accounts and does not ask you to sign in with Walker United Group LLC. Optional sync uses your existing Apple ID / iCloud account.
Purchases
In-app purchases (including I&E Bench Pro) are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may share limited purchase/entitlement information with us as needed to unlock Pro and support Restore Purchases. See Apple’s privacy policy for how Apple handles payment data.
Analytics and tracking
We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, or marketing SDKs. There are no third-party SDKs in the App for ads, analytics, or tracking.
Crash and diagnostics
The only diagnostics are Apple’s built-in crash reports. Those reports are shared with developers only if you opt in through iOS (for example, by sharing iPhone Analytics / App Analytics with developers). We do not embed third-party crash or diagnostics SDKs. Crash data is handled by Apple under Apple’s terms; it is not collected by us through a separate SDK.
Support email
If you email [email protected], we receive the address and content you send so we can respond. We use that information only to provide support. Support emails are kept for 12 months, then deleted.
Data sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal information.
Processors and parties involved in operating the App and related site:
- Apple, for App Store distribution, purchases, Restore Purchases, (when you opt in) built-in crash reports, and, when optional sync is on, iCloud / CloudKit private database storage of your saved work (not accessible to the developer).
- The email provider for [email protected], solely to receive and store support correspondence.
- The website host (Cloudflare), for hosting the public website that may display this policy and related pages.
We share or process data with others only as described above, or when required by law.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Use the free features without purchasing.
- Keep data on-device by staying signed out of iCloud or turning iCloud off for the App in Settings.
- Manage or restore purchases in your Apple ID / App Store settings.
- Control whether Apple may share analytics/crash information with developers in your iOS Settings.

Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced by updating the Effective date on the website where this policy is published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where Apple's terms or applicable law requires otherwise.
